lainlee3design.com Features Pure Path

23 Dec 2009 / Comments Off / in Announcements/by adailey

Our friend and video contractor Lain Lee has featured his work for Pure Path as his featured video in a mass e-mail to all of his clientele.  This is what He said about us:

This month, I would like to share the motion video I just finished for my client Pure Path, out of Arizona.  Pure Path is a program for the Crisis Pregnancy Center, and seeks to educate people about the beauty of purity and how sex is a gift.  They provided me with a script and a voice over, and I was given creative freedom to come up with the rest. This was a great project to work on, having the freedom to be creative.

All graphics were created and manipulated in Illustrator, then transferred into After Effects for compositing and animation.

It was a great honor to work with Lain on this project and I look forward to using him again in the future.  If you are in need of a great video designer who loves Jesus and has a heart for the church, check out www.lainlee3design.com.

A good work space is uber important for any ministry that is going to be creating cool stuff.  We want to thank God and our donors for all the provision needed to open our new office space.  We are located on 2917 West Indian School Rd. in Phoenix Arizona.

The goal for the space is simple, clean, and usable.  We do not have art work up yet but it is coming along. If you are in the neighborhood feel free to swing by.

Great Contacts and Great Equipment

It continues to amaze me, the grace that we have been given as a ministry.  This week we alone we had some real key meetings with some key leaders.  It was great to meet with Gary Kinnaman and get some valuable insight and support.  I also received a call from the President of purecommunity.org who told me about all the things they are doing, and I was able to share with him about pure path.  One thing that is so important right now is just building relationships.

We also are getting great responses on our online survey.  We would love for moreindividuals to fill it out.  We are now making it so that every person who fills out a survey, and gives us their information, will be entered into a drawing for a $25 itunes gift card - so go fill one out, it will help us, and maybe you too.

We announced the series we are developing, “Elephant in the room.”  We are going to try and talk about the things that everyone knows are there, but no one wants to talk about it.  Go to the post and give us your feedback.

overview_features_software20090828We were able to purchase Mac Pro, and all the software, so that we can get to work.  This is such a huge blessing and we are really thankful to Crisis Pregnancy Center for all their support and backing.

Thanks for your support and prayers and please keep it up.  If you have any questions do not hesitate to contact us.

Elephant in the room

elephant in the room web slide

We are working on our first set of resources, and we have decided to title it, “Elephant in the Church“. We have all heard the saying, “There is a elephant in the room” - it is an idiom that means there is a problem that everyone knows very well, but no one talks about because it is taboo, embarrassing, etc. That is how a lot of sexual issues are in the church. Everyone knows they are there, but no one wants to talk about them. So as we are developing this resource in a creative, but gospel centered way, can you help us by commenting below the answer to these questions:

What “elephants” do you see in the Church?

What are the top unaddressed sexual problems you see in the church?

Thank you for your support and feedback.  If you have any questions or comments please feel free to contact us.

About Pure Path

About Pure Path
Being a brand new ministry it is important for us to explain as much about Pure Path as we can. In the about section of our web page we have some great information that explains what we believe and how we formed our ministry strategy.

Who is Pure Path?

We believe that purity is a path walked out one step at a time over the course of one’s life. Purity is not just a onetime decision made in a moment of conviction but a conviction produced by the work of the Holy Spirit in ones heart, and it is protected through discipleship relationship.

The Church is the people that God has called to make those disciples. So because we believe that the church is the place that this happens, we want to be a servant to the church and help them do the ministry God has called them to.

Our Ministry is built on 4 principles

(1) Partnership – a noun meaning an association of two or more parties as allies.

  • Pure Path is built on partnership with the local church, pastors, parents, teachers, and mentors. We believe the power of real transformation in the lives of any student is within these relationships.
  • All that Pure Path does is equip, train, resource, and creatively empower its partners to talk about difficult, but important, sexual topics.

(2) Purge – a verb meaning to rid of whatever is impure or undesirable; cleanse; purify

  • Purity is not obtained through self will but through the person and work of Jesus and the empowerment of His Spirit.
  • All the Resources will be infused with the purging power of the Gospel and will continually remind the teacher and the student to look to Jesus for purity.

(3) Plunge – a verb meaning to embark on a course of action

  • Pure Path will resource leaders with cutting edge discipleship tools to enable them to plunge into a discipleship relationship, by giving them raw topics to discuss on a weekly basis that build communication, trust, and a discipleship relationship over an extended period of time.
  • As you plunge into the topics pure path commits to be there with you every step of the way.

(4) Patience – a noun meaning quiet, steady perseverance; even-tempered care; diligence: to work with patience.

  • This is where each leader has to develop a mentality that purity is a path and not a onetime event by staying patient and committed to being in a long term, loving discipleship relationship with each student.
  • Pure Path will remain patient in continuing to develop cutting edge resources to help them keep focused on discipleship. This is where Pure Path desires to be a second wind for the long race.
