How do I have the “sex talk” with my child?
Pure Path has taken on a huge project, and we have done a lot of ground work, but in a couple of months we are going to be releasing a packet with booklet, video, & interactive questions for a parent to have “the talk” – or what we hope to be the a jump start for an on-going conversation about biblical sexuality. We are using the Gospel Story as an outline for the packet (Creation, fall, redemption, and restoration). This is an exciting project and we already have many people who are anticipating the release. We would love to hear back from you for a little bit of brainstorming.
- What do you think a kid needs to know about sex from their parents?
- Do you have any stories, either good or bad, about parents talking or not talking to their children?
- When did your parents talk to you and how did that go?
If you could answer any of these questions, or list any other thoughts you may have, we would love to hear your views on this topic.
